Mr. Rahman is the Founder and Managing Director of BASE Limited. Mr.
Rahman founded and established BASE Limited in 1999 as a premier Information Technology
Education Center in Dhaka, after his return from United States. In order
to bring quality and international standard IT training and consulting
services in Bangladesh, Mr. Rahman has formed partnership with reputed
multinational IT companies like Oracle Corporation and Prometric. In late
2000, Mr. Rahman established a full service IT solutions and consulting
division of BASE Limited in addition to its education services with the
enhanced IT team at BASE. Mr. Rahman's previous experience and expertise
in Information Engineering Methodology and IT consulting work in the
United States played a key role in such establishment.

Mr. Rahman has experience in wide range of Information Systems development
work which includes: planning, analyzing, designing, implementation and
testing. He has managed several small to large scale IT projects in
Construction, Hospitality, Utility and Entertainment Industry in Bangladesh
USA Mr. Rahman was
involved in the development of Information Systems for Utility Industries
and participated in the design enhancement, and implementation of a large
Work Management system for a major utility holding company as a Senior
Enterprise Engineer of James Martin & Company. The system was designed
for delivery in a distributed client/server environment. These tasks
required extensive knowledge of the business system requirements and the
underlying data and process models, and effective use of the industry
standard CASE tools. Prior to Joining James Martin & Co. Mr. Rahman
helped a large department store with more than 4000 store across USA to
develop their Inventory Control Systems with intelligent zoning and just
in time inventory process.

Bachelor
in Interdisciplinary Studies in Information Systems and Computer Science,
University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas, USA. Graduated in
May 1994. Worked
towards MBA in International Management, University of Dallas, Irving,
Texas, USA.
