Ms. Mirka Rahman, a Citizen of Finland, is the Director of Operations at BASE Limited.In this capacity, Ms. Rahman has developed the company's policies, processes and procedures that govern the company's daily activities and operational practices.  Ms. Rahman has overseen the Marketing and PR activities as well as HRM since the company's startup in the fall of 1999.  Additionally she reviews the class management and operational activities to ensure the customer satisfaction and maintenance of service standards.  She also participates in the strategy formulation and business development for the company. 

Ms. Mirka Rahman has previously worked for Consolidated Freightways in Irving, TX, USA from 1994-1998.  She served as and International Operations Supervisor at the company's TradeLink department, supervising 30 international operations personnel and ensuring the timelines of the services.  She also handled international customer and agent relations in Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia.  Before becoming the supervisor at TradeLink she handled the company's global logistics activities and prepared procedures to monitor various market developments and freight flow as International Operations Coordinator.  Originally she served the company as an Account Manager handling large national accounts and linking their vendors through CF's services to their distribution channels.   During her last year at the University of Texas at Arlington, Mirka Rahman worked for American Passage Media Corporation as their Marketing Manager at the UTA campus coordinating and managing MBNA Master Card promotions.
